Come along on May 6, 2006 as the Society travels to Lancaster, Pa., to see "The Living Experience," a re-enactment of stories of the Undergrounad Railroad.
The $55 cost covers transportation, shopping and lunch on your own at the Kitchen Kettle Village. At 1 p.m. it's off to the performance featuring a spiritually creative living history production of the Underground Railroad stories of those escaping to freedom.
The program will be followed by a Southern style buffet including fried chicken, greens, punch and delicious desserts.
The bus will leave from Lion's Head Plaza, Evesham Avenue, Somerdale at 9 a.m. and return by 7:30 p.m. Only 25 tickets are available.
