2004 Pictorial Calendars On Sale

The Lawnside Historical Society's 2004 pictorial calendars show more vintage scenes of proud eighth grade graduates, Lawnside School class pictures, a parade, military veterans and up-to-date photographs of Society events.

The color cover is a montage of photographs of re-enactors from the 22nd Regiment U.S. Colored Troops at the commemoration of the firing on Fort Sumter last April. The montage was created by Sandoval Graphics and Printing of Hi-Nella using photographs taken by Raymond Fussell of Saddlertown, a member of the Society.

Calendars are on sale at the Peter Mott House every Saturday from noon to 3 p.m. for $10. The Mott House, the farmhouse linked to the Underground Railroad through the local agent, the Rev. Peter Mott, is located at 26 Kings Court, Lawnside, off Gloucester Avenue at Moore Avenue.
