Peter Mott House UGRR Museum

The Peter Mott House Underground Railroad Museum opened October 13, 2001 after nearANNIVERSARY2018ly 20 years of restoration work, negotiations and planning. The project was funded with support from the New Jersey Historic Trust, National Trust for Historic Preservation, the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs, Senator Wayne Bryant, Camden County Board of Chosen Freeholders, Kings Road Questers, Mount Zion United Methodist Church, Mount Pisgah African Methodist Episcopal Church, school children. Come celebrate our anniversary, Saturday, October 13, noon to 3 p.m. at the Mott House.

The house is open each Saturday from noon to 3 p.m. The requested donation is $2 per students and $5 for adults.  To request large group and week day tour by appointment, complete the Tour Request Form on the Tours page

Restoration and maintenance work is continuous. Help install a new fence and make other repairs at the Peter Mott House by making tax-deductible donations here to help us meet our goal of $5,500.
